Miami Vs Wake Forest Game thread

Correction, you don't want to lose to anyone.

Im sure duke didnt wanna lose to us, or maryland etc... its going to happen. we have FAR and i mean Faaaaaaar exceeded expectations this year.

It is irrelevant and stupid. This is basketball, you want to win. Nobody wants to lose PERIOD.

Don't be a dumb. Of course nobody likes to lose, but losing is inevitable in this sport, and I'd rather it be in a meaningless game than getting snowplowed by Duke.

This comes at a good time for us. We have a few days off before VT at home to regroup, then Duke next weekend.

I am aware, I don't be a dumb. Hence it was a stupid post. For the last three games I have said it is almost impossible to go undefeated in the ACC but still nobody wants to lose. I am aware and I am a level headed fan.

A loss only has benefit if you can learn from it. That is all I am saying, teams play to win but of course losses happen.

Word up.

I think a loss like this will "uncap" the pressure cooker that has been building over the past few weeks as the hype train has gathered steam. We'll drop to 6 or lower in all the polls, people will start muttering 'see I knew Miami wasn't that good', and the guys will perhaps feed off that. But it definitely looks like we've been playing recently while carrying a huge burden. It's hard for these players, because we've never known what big expectations are supposed to be. Hopefully Coach L speaks to all this and they learn from it.

The guys need to realize Duke is well positioned to win the ACC regular season if we drop a couple more. The way we look lately, that is quite possible.

How many times does it need to be said? There is no regular season ACC title or banner. It's tournament conference champion or BUST.

We're all but guaranteed a 1 or 2 seed, so all the rest is just window dressing.

Of course, its all meaningless before the tourney, but mentally, it would not be encouraging to fall in second behind Duke after such a great run in the regular season.

Yeah, yeah, its all meaningless until March.

Let's hope, just glad we have the right guy in charge.

we will drop to about 5 or 6 in the polls

definitely not how I envisioned this game going but it's always tough to win in the ACC on the road. everything went their way today and we had one of our worst outings. it was farfetched to think we were gonna run the table in the ACC. however people need to stop acting like our whole season is ruined or were gonna drop the rest of our games. we will be fine. **** hopefully we will be hungrier and even better off.

the good news is we only have one more game on the road and it is a game that the whole team should be more than fired up for since it's Duke. the games at home should not be much of a problem

The poster is retarded or a troll.

The ACC Men's Basketball Tournament (popularly known as the ACC Tournament) is the conference championship tournament in basketball for the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The tournament has been held every year since 1954, one year after the conference's creation. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The winner, declared conference champion, receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA men's basketball tournament.
Unlike most college basketball tournaments, the ACC Tournament acts as the only championship for the ACC, rather than an addition to the regular season title. The ACC elected to eliminate the regular season title following the 1961 season and declare the tournament champion the sole champion of the conference from then on.
