Will be interesting to compare, USF covered +30.5 at Bama 42-16 week 2. Game was 14-13 Bama going into the 4th quarter. Bama had 194 passing and 199 rushing. USF had 103 passing and 206 rushing. Bama turned it over 3 times and was sacked 3 times but was 5/13 3rd down conversions. Both teams were also heavily penalized.

For comparison:
Miami covered -17 on the road 50-15. Miami up 7 at half and pulled away in the second half.
Miami had 404 passing and 188 rushing (91 on one play late in the 4th; Bama had TD runs of 56 and 29 late in the 4th).
USF had 303 passing and 62 rushing.
Miami turned it over once and sacked 0 times.
USF turned it over twice and sacked 4 times.
Both teams heavily penalized.

Offensively, we ran it about the same as Bama. We threw it way better, more efficient 3rd downs, turned it over less, and got sacked less.
Defensively, we defended the run better and Bama defended the pass better. We forced more turnovers and both teams got 4 sacks.

Atlanta in early November isn’t cold at all. It will be in the mid-60s and even warmer on the field. It doesn’t really feel like fall here until December.
