I hate to be an optimist but a Miami Vs UF Bowl game is the best case Scenario right now for the program (that’s also somewhat realistic)

If we can manage to go 7-5 and UF manages to go 7-5 I wouldn’t be surprised to see them match up in a bowl game.

The gators right now are 4-3 (about to be 4-4 with UGA coming this week)
Recruiting Wise if we can have a win against both FSU & UF in the same year that will do wonders for us as well as propel us for 2023 (which to be honest this season is lost and we playing for momentum/hope/pride at this point)

UF will most Likely take an L to UGA as well as one of: @ South Carolina, @Texas A&M or @FSU which IMO would put us on par to matchup with them in a bowl game if we can manage W’s against UVA, FSU, GT & PITT

Before anyone comes at me saying beating FSU is unlikely just remember we lost to a BAD FSU team last year and I won’t write anything off for a rivalry game.

this is a BEST case scenario for us.

I won’t hold my breath on it happening but for the rest of the season our best case scenario is:

1. Gattis Leaves and we implement some form of spread (this is just as bad as Enos)
2. We get healthy/get young & returning guys quality burn
3. We beat FSU
4. We matchup with UF in a bowl game and also win
5. We don’t lose any underclassman to the draft that shouldn’t leave

Sorry, but we really don’t want a Bowl game, I can’t even imagine it.
We’re working on a losing streak here that has no reason to end.

We just need to hurry up and close this season ASAP and start clearing out our issues.

Finish the losing streak out and file this year as sump cost be done with it.

Would be nice! And that would make me feel so much better. Wins over FSU and UF! Not holding out hope but i can acknowledge that would be nice!

F a bowl , even if we squeeze out 6 wins. The way this year is going we’ll have 10 guys tear their acl’ s in the Sun Bowl.
Facts. Having more time to heal from season & Mario focused longer on necessary staff changes + recruiting will carry a lot more weight than winning some crappy bowl.

Hate to be an optimist? We need more of them.

While I'm doubtful your scenario will play out, I'm glad you're hopeful it can.

Didnt you start some other momentum thread?! Ill Give the same answer LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

IF we become eligible to go bowling it wouldn’t be such a bad thing. More reps for the youngins would be a huge benefit
Can you show me what season it was that getting youngins more bowl practice reps turned into a huge benefit? This is CIS cap. Most coaches nowadays don't even use all the practices, and half of their "team" isn't even playing in the game. Bowls are completely meaningless in 2022
