Hurricanes did better against the zone to end the half, primarily because got out in transition. In the half court setting, going to have to make some adjustments 2nd half or will be hard to hold on.

We keep the ball at the top and try to hit the high post from above the three point line everytime, basically not using the short corner at all. Need to get the wings the ball about a 3-5 feet below the FT line extended, and cut high post from weak side and low post short corner and get high post entry there or low post and cut two cutters. Be a lot easier looks and more consistency.

When above the three point line at top the defense has five guys below us at all times, at least on the low wing / high corner area to entry, we are would nullify their two guard at the top and playing below them and put them in recovery situations when ball moved back to the top

Reneau & Hendo leading the way.

With Tre coming off the bench it gives him more clarity in his role where he doesn't have to force it & take bad shots.

We're controlling the boards & shooting well from the FT line.

Keep that up & we pull away in the 2nd half.

Bringing Tre Donaldson off the bench is the boldest adjustment as a HC Jai has made yet. Feels like the right move still; as well as starting him in the 2nd half.
