Short leash but he has been shooting at a 40% clip on small volume. Given Timotej’s recent international success, it makes sense he was given more time IMO to get into a groove. But that was then. And this is now. And we’re better now.

Without Allen, he’s effective as a backup 4 with Malik in the small ball 5. We need the spacing. I just wish the kid could get his confidence back. Might need to allow him to dribble more.







Maybe being able to start games was a major psychological boost for him. Idk. Hopefully we see him knock down a couple 3s in the second half or against UL.

Miami is playing their best right now.
It's so good that as long as all 9 players in the rotation stay healthy that you feel really good about Miami winning the ACC Tournament.
6 made 3 at half and we always felt that this team needed to make 10 threes a game to compliment their defense, rebounding and fast break offense.
As crazy as it sounds, I think this team is in a nice groove.
Win tonight, beat Louisville on Saturday get some rest and we are carrying a lot of momentum into the ACC tournament.
Think about this, Miami is no longer in the bubble conversation so why not move up a seed or three in March Madness.
That's what we are playing for now along with the ACC tournament Championship.
