Message board fans forget basketball has 2 halves, football has 4 quarters, etc.

Good win. Best half of basketball I've seen in a long time. Good lesson. If you can't hit from 3 you can still win if you make your FTs. Good adjustment by Jai going to the zone. They were killing us on the switches. This is a fun team to watch.

I've stopped posting during FB and BB games. People want to burn it all down the moment we face adversity.

That was a pretty ugly first half. Couldn't get a thing going. Without Reneau on the court, they are absolutely lost. On the flip side, what a comeback after halftime. We have some special players on this team.

This schedule is brutal right now. 9 days off before first ACC game, another 8 days off before they play @Wake. That's a lot to ask.

The comments pretty much reflected the play on the court in both halves. A 20-0 run at home vs a bad team is not good. Adjusted at half. Took the momentum and locked it up with a W.
 
Not going to win many ACC games with 2 pts from our bench, 4 of 22 for 3s and just 6 assists all game. Thankfully Pitt is THAT bad. Hopefully there's several more ACC teams that are this bad!

Yeah, hopefully he stays healthy and never gets in foul trouble again. Offense couldn't do anything without him. If he stays on the court for more of the first half, that 20-0 run (28-8 to close the half) doesn't happen. (Side note: How many teams in the entire NCAA this season do you think will give up a 20-0 run and still win?)

We've known we're not a great shooting team since before the season started, but we've been decent most nights. Not tonight though, and we can't survive shooting 18% from deep against most ACC teams.

It was almost entirely Reneau, but the free throw percentage was better tonight at least.

Can win a lot of games being +7 on OREB, +11 from the free throw line, 4 less fouls than our opponent, and 9 more fastbreak points.

They were +6 on the 3 point margin, and we were +6 on the margin for points in the paint. While we had 3 more turnovers, both teams had 13 points off turnovers. Advantages Neutralized.

Each game is an absolute occasion with similarities yet an obvious presumption it will not be repeated. The score is the score.

We can't shoot. Once teams figure that out, it's going to be tough to score in conference play. That said, tonight was a good comeback, salute to Coach Lucas for pressing the right buttons coming out of halftime.

FT shooting won the game tonight, without it, there's no way Miami could have won this ballgame. Pitt was bad from the charity stripe, Miami connected, those points mattered.
