Someone explain to me why we wouldn’t have thrown it deep on that 3rd and long. We could complete it or get a PI call. Worst case it’s intercepted near the goal line and it’s essentially a punt.

Dawson doesn’t go for the jugular, he’s content with punting. You don’t make the 1st down you punt regardless but running on 3-13, doesn’t even call to win in a semifinal game
