Nah, i can't blame him - he doesn't know where Toney is running, his edge guy had outside leverage and he pushed him that way, inside guys lost leverage and forced the outside run into the edge guy. Bell doesn't move well laterally so you can't expect him to get a reach block....if the ball was meant to go that way, a TE need to motion down or something.

This is missing the point blocking isnt perfect on every play Mali isn't strong enough to break tackles from D Lineman.

You could even run wildcat with direct snaps to Fletcher twice and probably got the 1st down.

Its just a misuse of personell at this point and Dawson cant tell the difference between ACC play and playoff football.
