****Miami vs. Ole Miss ACC/SEC CHALLENGE GAME THREAD****

Let’s take a moment to enjoy this one. It wasn’t pretty being short handed and turning it over nearly 20 times, but this team played great defense, rebounded well, finally hit some 3’s, and came away with a big road win.

This snaps a 16 game road losing streak. Let that sink in and let’s enjoy this!

Plenty of good. Plenty of improvement. I think our Euros are getting more comfortable- maybe - I hope so. Not sure why the Israeli didn’t see any second half minutes. It’s a solid win. They got hot and made a run as we got cold and sloppy and we still took care of business.

Good win, despite being short-handed due to injury (and having 3 of our best players have to briefly come out of the game at times due to injuries) and also playing real sloppy with the ball. What most impressed me is that we withstood every one of their runs in the 2nd half and basically kept the game at an arm's length... that is not easy thing to do in a road environment.

Anyway 7-2 is not bad at this point considering it was going to be a real tall task to beat BYU or UF. Now we have to make it through the back end of the non-con healthy but we have almost a month until we start ACC play and play four BAD mid-majors (I think all are sub 200 on kenpom) so we should be able to rest guys that are banged up.

11 made 3 points FGs.
Shooting is the one flaw in this team.
Flaw meaning the thing they don't do well but could improve.
I like this team because they play hard, rebound and defend.
I don't have crazy expectations for them so initially, before the season, I thought if they go 500 on the year then it should be considered a success.
That is still the expectations but if they can continue to beat the teams that they are capable of beating then winning 20 games this season is not out of reach.
