Miami vs. Michigan St From 1989

That defensive line is the best of our championship teams, imo. Straight murder in the first degree. Dominating. The three headed rotation of RMaryland, C Kennedy and JJones spearheaded constant heat from the interior. And paired with GMark, SCurry and Willis P off the edges this d line was absolute fire. Loved the way Sonny stamped his signature on Hurricane defense by intergrating the linebacking corp downhill with leverage. Those were the good ole days.

That 89 D is my personal favorite, that fronts first-step quickness( as a whole) was unreal. They literally re-set the LOS on almost every play. And the back-up backers on that squad were youngsters by the name of Darrin Smith, Jesse Armstead and Michael Barrow
