If it goes in, that's all I care about. I shot with a similar knuckleball style while in HS, and was fine from 3. As I got stronger and worked on my midrange jumper more, the backspin came. For me, it was just off-hand placement on the ball. Getting it more to the side instead of on top/in front.
It's fixable, and as long as it's going in, it's not the worst thing in the world.
Agree, result is all that matters. But, as shooters know, when you get that smooth backspin on it, you give yourself a better chance of getting the roll as opposed to the knuckleball. In the end, if you hit all net, it doesn’t matter!
