****Miami vs. Jacksonville GAME THREAD****

I still don't think that's a foregone conclusion re: Shelton going pro after one year. He'll certainly be a far more impactful freshman than Jalil was but this upcoming draft is incredibly deep and he's incredibly close with Lucas/his family, so I'd imagine he'll lean towards coming back for another year unless he absolutely blows up this season.
Good point about the jai Lucas connection. The draft is stacked, but man. I know GMs will be salivating over his frame and athleticism.

Shoutout to the espn Roku app for being so god**** useless I caught about 5 minutes of the first half.

Well, so far this early season, my favorite player (off the bench?) is def NOT Dante Allen.

Some of ya'll need to recalibrate your expectations a bit. This was a complete roster purge. A brand new staff, etc. Bubble team at best (I've optimistically put them in that category) but we could very well be a .500 team as well.
Anything 16 wins & over should be considered a success.

Agreed. I had posted 18 wins no tourny. Id like to adjust to 16 wins.

The 3 ball is not falling
This was my main comment after the roster took shape. I didn't see a real 3 point marksman in the lot. In today's 3 point-oriented game, that's an issue. Hopefully, one (or two) emerge. We're 1-9 early in the second half.

Thought the first half defense wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Udeh isn't gonna give us much scoring but you can see why he needs to be out there -- to hit the defensive glass.

This team needs to learn how to play together, which they will. Could be a decent team end of year. I think they need another inside big guy.
