Just realized something reasonably interesting rn to pass the time till tipoff:
Canes ladies win easily over a bad Hofstra 83-48. We will see how the awful free throw shooting, 50 %, holds up versus ACC foes. Maybe partly due to 8 benchers joined 5 starters in action, but the 3-shooting (twice as many tries as Hofstra) wasn't great at 25%. What struck me were that many of these many misses didn't even look close, but the gals were indeed agile and good driving the basket. Things looked so different without the twins out there, but can't say their ball talents were sorely missed IMHO.
