Pretty sure he still can, and if not can apply for a medical shirt later in his career and he'd probably get it.

Can't get a normal redshirt, but can probably get a medical. It only takes one play to burn the regular redshirt.

Ok, first quarter thoughts( that Lewis injury is very sobering, I have to say) but in addition to the score, best part is that the offense is just grinding the clock on a team that predicates themselves on doing that. Not only is it 19-0, but they are keeping the D fresh

This couldn't have gone any better(withstanding the awful injury to Malcolm)

The whole twist your body around the other guy's legs tackle is akin to stepping under the jump shooter in basketball. It's kinda bull****.

Agree Joe, really bittersweet. I like Lewis a lot and think he will be very good for us. Just hate it for the kid.

I'm excited its football joecane.. if you've ever played at a high level people do get injured.. He is hurt not career threatening he will be back next year.
