That was exactly like the next two decades. We played good enough to win, were clearly the better team, but still somehow terrible enough to lose.

Imagine if special teams doesn't ***** us 05 really could have been a special year. That and TMoss getting hurt (There won't be flowers for Charlie Jones or Derron Thomas). We would likely be in a BCS game and we'd either be getting stomped by SC/UT in the title game or being the team left out.

Kirby Freeman was 2007 in Tally. That wasn’t a Labor Day game.

Nori in OT was 2004 but that play was the one to put it into OT. We won that game in OT on a Gore run after Rix fumbled a shotgun snap.

For me, it was the 97’ game where we lost 47-0 at Dork Shamble stadium. I’ll never forget walking back to the car and being harassed by Nole fans the entire way. Granted, we were on probation so we had a built in excuse...but still.

Btw this is just another reminder that with all the justified complaining we have done about Diaz, Golden/Donofrio, Shannon, etc., Coker is still the threshold for garbage here.

He wrecked a dynasty and this game/LSU were just icing on the cake for how inept and what a horrific job he did given what he inherited.
