This is where Miami needs to shine. One of the highest valued metrics for entry into a new conference is "eyes on sets." This is what the broadcasters care about the most.

Don't forget those November games where everyone is watching to see us lose. Our close games last year were all highly rated. You know we'll have UF and FSU fans hating from outside the club.

We were 18th overall in ratings last year. 15 of the 17 ahead of us were Big10 and SEC, and the other two were ND and a circus act.

  1. Georgia — 5.97M
  2. Alabama — 5.44M
  3. Ohio State — 5.16M
  4. Texas — 4.63M
  5. Michigan — 4.01M
  6. Florida — 3.639M
  7. Tennessee — 3.598M
  8. LSU — 3.58M
  9. Colorado — 3.55M
  10. Texas A&M — 3.37M
  11. Oklahoma — 2.80M
  12. Notre Dame* — 2.51M
  13. Nebraska — 2.469M
  14. Oregon — 2.466M
  15. Penn State — 2.457M
  16. Southern Cal* — 2.408M
  17. Mississippi — 2.407M
  18. Miami FL — 2.401M
  19. Auburn — 2.16M
  20. South Carolina — 1.91M

For perspective, our ave rating for measured games is 6.0 M per game (which includes 720K for the USF game on CW.... which the rain delay took away 35% of our audience).

One more thing, giving the way ratings are being measured this year (i.e. Big Panel Data Measurement), numbers are approx. 20% higher than last year's numbers.
