Coming off of a 63-61 victory over Florida Gulf Coast Saturday night, Drake sits at 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs also defeated Stephen F. Austin and York. The Bulldogs are led by Junior Bennett Stirtz, averaging 18.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. This is one of the more veteran groups that the 'Canes have faced so far this season, as the Bulldogs feature 3 Seniors, 1 Junior, and a Sophomore in the starting lineup.

• Point guard. Non-shooter. Closeout short.
• He has shot six behind the arc, and one has yet to go in.
• Will crash the glass, so got to find him and box him out.
• Decent defender.
• NO RIGHT-HAND DRIVES!!! Force him to go left.
• All of his eight points this season have come from the free-throw line
• Be aggressive defensively, trying to get steals and create turnovers

• Very skilled guard. SHOOTER!!! NO 3’s! 6/13from 3 so far this season.
• Get over ball screens and be tight with him when guarding, allowing no space.
• Pressure him on the perimeter. Make him uncomfortable.
• No help off of him.
• Don't jump on his ball fakes, stay down and play calm defense.
• Will take charges, so play discipline.
• Try to go over ball screens.

#22 – Mitch Mascari

• Bigger guard, allow NO 3'S!! 10-22 from three this season.
• Need to be there to take away the catch-and-shoot 3’s.
• When you're defending #22, make sure you hedge to the corner, especially when he is spotting up, because that's where he starts hitting those three-pointers.
• Pressure him on the perimeter.

• Daniel might be the top shooter on the team, hitting 11 out of 20 three-point shots.
