****Miami vs. Delaware State GAME THREAD****

Good win and we beat them worse than Syracuse beat them.

Wasn't miami supposed to be a good FT shooting team?

Spread was 39.5 so we covered easily. Nice performance from Altuntas. If we can get 8 to 10 playable minutes, then we should be happy.
 
There will always be some bad cupcakes on the schedule, that's true of every D1 basketball schedule, mostly because of the sheer number of slots you have to fill before conference play. That said, the team took care of business, and I can't complain about much.

#11 actually looked somewhat like a D1 player, but it took playing arguably the worst team in the classification for him to do so. A double double isn't anything to sneeze at, but we also have seen enough film to have a good idea of what he will be when the bullets really start flying. I'd be happy if he could eat some minutes, and not be a net negative. That's a win.

Yep, the back end of this roster is bad. Coach Lucas will be able to fill in some better bodies through recruiting this year, but that's something he has to fix. No one expects him to have 12 Burger Boys on the roster, but I do expect 12 actual D1 bodies...

I wonder why Maddox hasn’t seen any minutes. He looks athletic and rangy from his HS tape. Wonder if he’s injured or taking a redshirt.
 
Keep letting Timotej shoot. He is a sniper and just needs to see the ball go in more. Good team W

Might be the worst team I've seen us face in 10 years. Just utterly incompetent. They needed a buzzer beater to beat a DIII team before they played us, if that's any indication.
