Sure, but it's not just the record. The computers like Miami too. Despite being flawed, Miami is easily one of the top 68 teams in the nation (yes, I know because of auto bids you have to be better than 68th to make the tournament). I'd say Miami is easily top 40 if not better.

You know as well as I that the committee picks and chooses when the computer rankings matter. We've seen it happen time and time again. All things equal, I'd feel confident if the jerseys said anyone other than Miami, but we've been burned before. The only thing this team can do is take care of business. If they beat the teams they are supposed to beat and get a split between NCSU/SMU, there's no doubt. That said, with this team's lack of depth, I don't know if they can hold up, it's going to be tough. Just ride this out and see what happens.

How is this team 19 and 5/8 and 3 IN ACC? we have no depth. We can't shoot FT. We can't shoot 3PT. Yet here we are, down a starting guard and we just beat #11 UNC. 7 games to go and some TOUGH games in there. Win another couple of games against either VT, VA, SMU and LVille and this may just be a tourney team!!

Jai Lucas is a really really good coach. Coaching staff he put together is A+ as well.

Lunardi had Miami in as an 11. A couple of other sites had Miami in as a 10 or 11 too. We were on the bubble, but bubble in. We took a HUGE step towards being definitely in tonight.

right 11 is the bubble- play in game possible- last four in- with automatic qualifiers so yeah that was a huge win.

He’s the missing piece. If Udeh stays out of foul trouble and can dominate the interior we’re on our way to being a complete team. Bench is super weak but our starters are quality.
