Best canes lb since quarterman imoDude is an animal so I welcome him back.
for sure. Toure made all the work the dline did hold up against the run. those boys were thumping. Without Toure Miami doesn't have the run defense. Wesley also stepped up big time this year with this schemeBest canes lb since quarterman imo
Start calling this man Dr. Toure"Lots of people go to school for 9 years."
"Yeah they're called doctors."
****tt I think I’d rather have 2023 Kiko lol….who?!?!? Toure??
if toure has another year like this year then it's very likely possible he is our best LB since shaq….who?!?!? Toure??
Because Chambliss is trying to claim an injury that didn’t actually happen when he was just the backup QB at Ferris State and didn’t play after he used a RS the year before. He didn’t have a medical RS and no documentation to support what they’re claiming. Ferris State never filed his paperwork for a medical and he never thought about trying for a 6th year because it never happened. Ole Miss cooked it all up and got Ferris State to play along and say he was injured.Honestly curious how they make these decisions? I mean I'm happy he's coming back but you get cases like Chambliss from Ole Miss that can't get a 6th year. Makes you wonder.
Miami is getting a big piece back on defense.
According to Peter Ariz of CanesInSight, veteran linebacker Mohamed Toure will return to Miami for an eighth year of college football. Toure’s decision brings proven experience and leadership back to the Hurricanes’ linebacker room.
Toure saw solid action last season for the Hurricanes, finishing with 54 total tackles and two sacks. Over the course of his college career, which includes his time prior to Miami at Rutgers, Toure has totaled 168 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, and 13.5 sacks.
The former Rutgers linebacker has battled injuries before hitting his time in Miami, but when healthy, he’s been a steady, physical presence in the middle of the defense. Getting a veteran like Toure back for another season is a major boost for Mario Cristobal’s defense heading into 2026.
This one is big.

Just for clarification sake..in black and white terms..so a player has 5 years to play college ball and there is no expiration timeframe to use those 5 years? So the reason guys like Cam Mc and Toure got 9th and 8th years is because they never got there full 5 years?
They’re trying to say he needs a medical RS for strep throat and for getting his tonsils removed after the season was over. Not even a phone call from Pete Golding could resolve this.
