The run game scheme is every bit as bad as the defense was last year.
It worked at beginning of the year because teams played us straight up. Now teams have our tendencies down pat. And we ain’t budging.

It’s not try harder, it’s go into the lab and come up with some different stuff.

“Try harder” is what loses you locker rooms.

Especially if the point is to wear down teams.
The defense literally being on the field doesn’t wear them down if they are just standing there.
Forcing them to run plays and tackle is what wears them down.

The running game last year was one of the highest YPC teams in the country. We were 6th in the country at 5.67ypc

Not sure what happened this year but it's probably the lack of threat from Cam Ward with those quick throws on the RPOs.

It was mainly garbage….running between the guards. The point is, the scheme holds it back

The YPC could have been better last year. At least we had a vertical passing game

Regardless the run scheme, season after season, continues to be crap

But keep defending this sub par scheme if you’d like
