MIAMI V NEBRASKA PREDICTION THREAD

Much like the 2009 game vs VT, the weather is going to be a huge factor in determining the outcome of this game. It's possible the first two games that had major weather issues helped prepare Miami for the rain, but because of the delays, I doubt it.

If it's dry, Miami should light up Nebraska's secondary. After taking a two touchdown lead, Golden will likely slow down the offense and kill our momentum in an asinine attempt to keep the defense off the field, allowing Nebraska to make the game closer than it should be in the second half. Miami pulls out a 28-24 victory.

If it's wet, Kaaya struggles to get in sync with his receivers, and the offense staggers on third downs. Nebraska stacks the box and prevents Yearby from being effective. Nebraska shreds our 2 gapping 3-4 defense on the ground throughout the entire first half. Corn elder gives us good field position on special teams, and we settle for field goals that "keep us in the game". D'onfrio considers making halftime adjustments and utilizing a 1 gap 4-3 under hybrid moving a SS into the box, but in the end concludes he's better off staying with the 3-4 2 deep zone and preventing the big play down field. Nebraska opens the half with a play action pass for a 65 yard TD. On our last drive we manage to score a meaningless TD in order to make the score line look better, but it's too little too late. Nebraska takes it 32-27.

Phil Steele on at ESPN during fsu halftime rates Miami as his most improved team and predicts us to beat them 31-20.

He also said previously that his, "sure fire bet," was for Penn State to beat Temple 25-10. I value his opinion little.

Kaaya 400 plus yards.
They don't score in the 4th quarter.
'Canes 38
Huskers 27

Praying to God we get blown out...

But I'm worried cause this is a below average Nebraska team. With the idiots we have running the program a win tomorrow might just get this fat **** a lifetime extension and a statue in the food court.

Kaaya takes over the game and throws for 400+. Wefense gets 5 turnovers and everything goes right for the U. Now emboldened, the Al Golden **** brigade will be out in full force until next week when we get caught looking forward to FSU and get upset by Cincinnati. The slide begins and we finish 6-6. Nebraska ends up being a 5 loss team. Golden is fired immediately after the Pittsburgh game and the following day Butch Davis is announced as the new coach. Butch then convinces Rob Chudzinski and Greg Shiano to come on board as the OC and DC respectively. Ken Dorsey comes in as QB coach and is groomed to succeed Chud as OC. Then I wake up.

20-14 miami

I dunno why but I just think nebraska comes out flat as *** and makes mistakes left and right all day

prob has something to do with the football gods favoring golden, 2 lightning strike delays?? not a coincidence

If Folden wasn't our Corch, I say we beat them handily.

Since the reality of the matter is that he is STILL our Corch, we get rolled 38-13, in typical Folden fashion.
