One of Miami's top commits plans to visit Auburn soon and "Should be Wednesday"; and it's not Sam Bruce.
Ahmmon Richards of West Palm Beach (Fla.) Wellington told AuburnUndercover on Monday afternoon he will be on campus this week.
The 6-foot-2, 172-pound Richards has been a top Auburn target for some time. The Tigers offered him in February and visited his school twice during the spring evaluation period.
Scott Fountain is his area recruiter for Auburn. Receivers coach Dameyune Craig also is playing an active role.
Richards, the No. 34 receiver and No. 195 overall recruit in the 247Sports rankings, committed to Miami one year ago this week.
He had 53 catches for 1,183 yards in 2014.
Richards is not the only 'Canes receiver commit being targeted by Auburn. The Tigers have actively recruited the aforementioned Bruce for more than a year.
Bruce hopes to visit Auburn in July, but if he can't, he plans to give the Tigers an official.
