The Dolphins got rid of a QB who is injury prone and cost the team $99 million, I don't think signing a high priced DE who two teams have deemed an injury risk is a chance they need to take.

I could have also been an excuse to back out of the trade. They lost a bunch of pieces in free agency, they were giving up two first rounders, and don't have a lot of money to spend- I think it was smart backing out
