Yeah but try to tell that to high school kids. They don’t care that was so 20 yrs ago. Let it go butch is too old.

Co-sign..... Its pretty obvious to me there's a lot of guys here that don't really know the game. Hey good vid bro BTW, spot on too. The common denominator in UGA, Bama, Taint, and Clemson is all up front, and its been forever, well since Butch left, that we were killer on the los on both sides, nobody can fix that quicker than Butch. On that same note, I went to Jerry World and watched Texas HS State Championships, 4, 5, and 6a, that's 6 games, and I've never seen so many 280-300 lb linemen, they are a dime a dozen it seems like. We used to recruit the **** outta Texas, that also pretty much left when Butch did, we need to get that goin again

The U 1&2 has bridged that gap. This is fact. High School kids who BD is lol He’s recruiting them as we speak lol. You think that he leaves out “I’ve created the greatest CFB team ever seen” out of his recruiting pitch ? Uh no lol

Truth - bare and raw!

These guys who mention these other half-assed coaches - who are "innovative," "killing it at Syracuse," and some of the other suggestions - **** - they don't know.

They just don't know.

I recall every game - whoever we played - I expected us to run over and around their butts - all the time!

Oh! Bama is big! So? We used to run around them, or even through them. Playing Bama? And they were good - no problem.

Butch knows the foundation is the personnel - and the one difference between Butch and a lot of other coaches - recruiting isn't something that must be done - he absolutely LOVED recruiting. That's why he closed so well.

Tested. In Miami. Proven. In Miami.

Butch Davis.

Now, lets watch and see if the Admin and idiot AD fvck up again.

Butch didn't just help - he was dismissed from other duties every Thursday - to evaluate and recruit for Jimmy.

Helped put together Jimmy's teams - they were passed on to Erickson, then recruited for himself - and they were passed on to Clappy.

As they graduated - so did Miami decline.

Butch is available. Just down the street a ways.

Yes we could afford it. Richt didn't take a huge settlement.... he was making $4m, Manny and Brown almost $1m a piece. That's $6m. Butch @ 3 and his OC/DC split 3.

I don't think that's true. The FAU job has him out of the spotlight, and losing, and making less than $1m. We could pay him 1.5
