Following Miami's dominant 45-6 performance against the Stanford Cardinal, the Hurricanes will stay put as the No. 7 team in the nation in the latest AP Poll update.

The college team with the biggest jump in the rankings was the Virginia Cavaliers, skyrocketing up to the No. 25 spot after taking down the NC State Wolfpack at home. The team with the biggest drop in the rankings was the Oregon Ducks, falling back to No. 6 after having a close game against Boise State.

Ohio State claims the No. 1 spot in the AP poll. The Georgia Bulldogs are up to No. 2, after overtaking Oregon's spot. Notre Dame is No. 3, Texas is No. 4, and Indiana is No. 5. Other ACC schools ranked inside the top-25 include: No. 17 SMU, No. 24 Louisville, and No. 25 Virginia.

When people show such bias and ignorance they really should lose their voting ability. There really wasn’t one team in the top 25 that looked better than us

We would have moved up to #6 if one moronic voter had included Miami on his ballot, as he had done in the prior vote.

You do know it’s not easy to go 3000 miles away for your first game against a team who already played and beat the **** out of them. I’m not saying move them to top 3 but move them up a spot or two specially when Oregon was on the ropes all game at home as a 20 point favorite.

 

Interesting. Assuming it's the same Brian Fonseca, he has an NBA pod, and guests occasionally on a Heat pod with Ethan Skolnick (Five Reasons). As far as I know, an NBA guy. Never heard him speak of college football. Makes you wonder how guys come to have a vote. Faux pas, clearly.
