5-9 in his next 14 pass attempts isn't catching fire, but we need him to show signs of viability so I guess we'll have to take it for now.

Thats why I want him. The competition is close still even with this inconsistency. Give perry ...or any of the frosh qbs....and by week 5 they'll be better than rosier

He got the QB wrong. It was Williams, not Perry.

Perry just looks more fluid out there and expands what the offense is capable of doing. He's a work in progress to be sure, but his arm and athleticism give the offense different dynamic. Still a long way to go and I ain't crowning anyone, but I like what he's doing today (yes, even with the awful stat line).
