Miami Should hire Bob Stitt as Offensive Analyst

The play calling reflected the abilities of the QB, including ability to read defenses. Motion reduces the time for a presnap read

Underrated post.

Pre-snap movement is absolutely connected the QB’s ability to actually read the adjustments.

Thanks for mentioning this.

Cost of living is much higher in Coral Gables than Montana.

That is what the 20k housing stipend is for. An Stitt loves to golf so throwing in a country club membership also covers his a lot of his leasure expense.

A $20K housing stipend gets you a house in Coral Gables LMAO. I'm assuming in his 50s he probably has a family. Bump that to $40K at least.

Money is not going to be what brings him here.
He has coach almost exclusively in mountain setting.
Don’t understand those who seem to be claiming that
Play calling does not help win games.

Richt need to hire a new qb. We need execution not creativity.

Could use a dose of both. The qb position needs a significant upgrade, but it doesn’t account for all the O’s problems. This doesn’t have to be an either or situation.

I have the pleasure of being a fan of a team that played against Stitt the last few years. I was very disappointed he was fired.

Do not want him here. Highly overrated, egomaniac.

Also, Montana is not a ****hole you ignorant peons.

Montana is actually pretty nice. Some parts of it at least.

Most Coaches rent when they are only expected to stay 2 years or less.

As in Stitt could Rent somewhere within 20 miles of campus for 2 yrs and then most likely move on to another coaching job. He can find somewhere for $2k/mos or less. The stipend covers roughly $1700 of that.

I'm all for getting the underrated guy but Stitt does not have a track record in the FBS.

Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Did you miss the part that this is the guy that Mike Leach and Dana holgorsen go to for help with their offense. His plays and concepts are spread all over FBS for years.

He have Holgorsen the fly sweep. That's it.

Look, Montana, healthy or not, regularly has more talent than the teams they're playing. I know, I watch most of their games. I follow the Big Sky. He's very, very overrated and an egomaniac.

As a Grizzly alumni I may have something
to offer on this topic.
The University of Montana has experienced
serious issues over the past few years. The school
and it’s football team are demoralized.
Coach Stitt has a great offensive mind but at
this time is not head coach material.
He would be a great hire for us and as an analyst he would help Miami’s
very predictable offense flourish.

* anybody who describes Missoula or Montana
as anything else than God’s country is either
delusional or ignorant.

Couldn’t agree more.

I’ve always wanted to visit that part of the country. Been all over but never there.

Come visit, but don't bother with Missoula. It's ok, but Bozeman area is better.

As a UMontana alumni, he’d be ok as an assistant, just wasn’t HC material...most are glad he’s gone.

Furthermore, eat **** grizzlies, go cats go!

Cats suck farts.

31-23 with a QB who can't pass. Biiiitch

I could care less about either team, being a fan of either is like debating who the smartest kid with Down syndrome is...

When was the last time MSU was actually relevant in anything anyway? The 80s?

In anything? Probably 2017 during the Solar Eclipse, some cool research that a lot of people saw from that. We do quite a bit with NASA.

I get it though. You're only a grad school graduate. It just isn't the same. Growing up in Montana, you're either for one team or the other. Are we nationally relevant? No, but who cares. But like I said, you're probably not a native, you wouldn't get it.
