Miami has landed its top interior offensive line target, securing the commitment of Alabama native Jatori Williams.

A 6-foot-5, 340-pound lineman from Phenix City, Ala., Williams brings power and physicality at the guard position.

Previously committed to Alabama before decommitting in January, the four-star prospect brings a pure guard profile — taking up space in the interior and mauling opposing rushers.

A multi-sport athlete in basketball, the athletic traits translate as he moves his feet well for his size and maintains balance throughout.

His profile is reminiscent of former Miami guard and Alabama native Anez Cooper, driving the opposition into the turf with a point to prove as he gets upfield.

Williams was crystal balled to the Hurricanes last month with a commitment date set for tomorrow, May 22, but decided to push it back last week. However, the staff continued to work and not only got it over the line, but got it done early as he picked the Canes over the likes of FSU, Auburn, Kentucky and Georgia.

Williams joins Sean Tatum as Miami’s interior offensive lineman for the 2027 class, joined by tackle Tyler Ford.

The Hurricanes are now up to 14 commitments this cycle, and five top-100 players so far — three coming this month with Donte Wright, Ai’King Hall and Williams.

This number could possibly grow with Miami LB target AJ Randle announcing his commitment later tonight.

Wow, auburn bag (not saying it like it’s a bad thing!) gotta be out of this world. Second time they’ve hit a lick on us this cycle.

Mario n Mirabal ain’t going to quit tho.

What happened? Did he leave or is it a force out to free up NIL and a spot for a flip?

My homie seen this kid in person and said he’s not good. Said he couldn’t block a soul vs Thompson, and their DE was dogging him. I said he’s gonna be a guard and gotta get in shape similar to Anez, but he said he’s not gonna reach that level lol. So idk, we shall see.

i believe him, not a big loss

I’m thinking the staff didn’t like what they saw this season from him

hmmm ... season eval?

but they've earned my trust ... they got people out here showing sj love ... that takes good coaching

Hmmm who gets his bag?

Hmmm who gets his bag?

Elkooo eraahhaaaaaaa

Kid visited fsu three times in four months then didn’t include them in his top 8. Not stressing it

I would figure that there was a ton of pressure to stay local especially with Deboer looking better every week and Golesh still smelling like new. Don’t be shocked if that this also could be money being reallocated to everyone’s favorite STA OT.

Senior eval drop.

Did I do that right?

Would hurt if we can’t get him back. His style fits us like a glove and we need more talent on IOL with requisite size, which he has. We need numbers there. I’d expect us to get another OG to replace him if we can’t get him back on board. For him to back off the verbal with the clear trajectories of us vs. AU, I honestly don’t expect him back.

That's it. I've lost faith in Mario and Alex at the OL position. ******* Gomez.

Which limb should we cutoff from mirabal first?

Auburn needs to fix that OL so not surprised they over paying.

Well we’re 5-0 and about to put another OL in the first round. It’s got to either be about money or staying local.

lets replace him with this guy...

Going to Auburn is just a big time short sighted move. Tough loss as he’s a baller.

But with the last class we brought in we got Cantwell cogdon and Joel Ervin log jamming three spots for 3-4 years. Plus Woodrow seems to be a hit. And Pickett had good reviews too. Not to mention the guys in the current class like Tatum and ford.

In Mario/mirabal I trust

Might actually force the staff to go into the portal for OL which wouldn't be the worst thing

lol dumb move on his part. oh well enjoy mediocre football.
