Miami is bringing the entire running back room back for next season.

Running backs Jordyn Lyle and Marty Brown both announced they’re returning, meaning the Hurricanes won’t lose a single scholarship back to the transfer portal.

Lyle saw limited action this past season but still made the most of his touches. He finished the year with 108 rushing yards and one touchdown, averaging 3.1 yards per carry, and added a few catches out of the backfield when his number was called.

I've been tough on Lyle and I hope he proves me wrong. He certainly has a ton of upside. But, he didn't make the most of his touches. 3.1 ypc and 1 TD isn't making the most of your carries. Three receptions for 22 yds and no TD's. I would say Pringle made the most of his touches. Averaging 6 ypc and 4 TDs rushing. Also 4 rec for 53 yds and 1 TD.

I don't understand the Lyle move. I don't understand it from his end nor our end. Seems the best thing to do for both parties is to move on considering who is returning.
Why? Clearly very talented. Coach Solly said he's one of the best he's seen. Got hurt early in the ND game and never seemed quite the same. With his kind of potential I'm tickled he's staying and working to get back to 100%.

I know Fletcher has SAID he's coming back but I wonder there's something Brown, Pringle, and Lyle know that hasn't been made public yet.
Deadling for NFL draft for players on CFP championship teams was 1.23.26.

It's time for everyone to move on and prepare their hottakes about how we are playing too many RBs (and CBs and DL) in games next year

Wow surprised by this...good news though.

May have been some home truths where these guys where told there value in the portal
(aka Fk all)....

Rotation is key next year, as we now see how long the grind is to final game. Have to keep two deep fresh. I see real depth at WR, RB, DL, and DB.

OL and LB seem to be areas of concern.
