Kid is going to lead us to the playoffs soon. JT, Brevin, Osborn - we got some talented weapons, I can’t wait to see this offense grow

I hope we stick with using Jarren under center and keep using the play action. I would like to see us use Realus George way more to get an extra legit blocker in there. Even DJ and Cam in together under I form could help jarren and the line a ton.

We got some studs tho. It was sloppy last night but we have kids that can make plays and break tackles. Cam and DJ need to eat.

Future Bright, Time Management needs to get better but future Bright , Manny said win or lose he wants to see this team fight and show a never quit mentally. We got 2weeks to cleans up mental issue.

I can roll with jwill, he throws a nice catchable ball and I feel he’s the type that will learn a lot from this game. The next three teams won’t have near the corners and pressure of UF and he’ll be able to go downfield more..

All things considered, a good real debut. Freshman issues with his internal clock and being indecisive with when to just tuck and run or throw it away, but that's to be expected.

I think the clock problem could also be a result of never getting into a rhythm in the second half. At least in the first possession, he got the 4-5 short passes which helped him get a feel for the game. Grantham clearly adjusted his defense and it seemed like JW never had the same kind of easy looks he had initially. Our running game was non existent except for DJ so that didn't help him at all.

I think he will be a great QB here. Once the Oline gets it together he will be dealing the pigskin.

QB position is fixed for 3 years. Oline is not and will take awhile to get right.

Played a solid enough game for first start against one of the better defenses Miami will see this year. Offensive line obviously did him no favors. Big issue to improve is pocket presence under pressure - better sense of when to unload the ball or take off decisively & get positive yardage. Hope is this game will really help his development.

The not throwing the ball away enough has been talked about ad nauseum so other than that......the kid did great given the circumstances.

Bottom line Enos & Manny picked the right starting QB but the wrong starting tackles. Let's see if they make the proper adjustment and move Scaife back to tackle......PERMANENTLY.

He needs the internal clock going. Right now, he takes too long to get through progression.
Once he scrambles, forgets to look downfield if not already sacked. Oline can definitely improve but he has to know holding the ball longer then 3 seconds is wrong
