Miami Potentially Just Locked Themselves Into The NCAA Tournament

Nothing. We won the ACC season and tournament and they made us a 2 seed.

Soooo...being in 3rd place in a larger ACC, and one of our losses being to the team in 2nd place (and going 1-1 against the 2 teams tied for 4th place) should result in Miami being knocked down 5 to 7 SEEDS (or 20 to 28 spots in the overall hierarchy)?

It's just weird, how Miami has hit a glass ceiling in rankings/seedings based on preseason perceptions. Even the losses to Cal by 1 (now a 20-game winner) and F$U by 2 (15 wins and .500 in the ACC) are not looking like such bad losses now.

And the second place team that we lost to...we were tied with ON THE ROAD with only a few seconds remaining...and then they drew a weak foul to win the game from the stripe. That second place team is a 4-seed and we are an 8-seed (per Lunardi at this current time).

And the fourth place team that we beat...is a 6-seed (per Lunardi).

the acc respect is gone. its basically SEC and b12 now. I think the b12 has some pretty nasty teams, but only one SEC is making any noise imo and thats UF. the rest are all just beating each other up

Crazy that even affer the SMU win that ESPN has them as a “should be in” with a free falling NC State team as a lock. Comical at this point.

The bubble and why we’re on it is just incomprehensible we have a bunch of wins in a multiple bid conference but can’t get off the 8 line and teams with less wins that we beat are locks! Like what? Like I know we don’t have a signature non conference win but we have a much better record than teams that do

If we could hit our FTs and have half the turnovers, we'd probably be a 1 loss team in the ACC...
