Ranking every game for Virginia Tech Hokies Football in 2017

Was browsing 247 and came across this article. A 247sports writer put out a ranking of every opponent of Virginia Tech and their win probability against them.

Here's where they ranked WVU plus the ACC opponents:

1. Miami 24%
2. Clemson 25.9%
3. GT 45.6%
4. UNC 59.4%
5. West Virginia 63.5%
6. Pitt 68.3%
7. BC 70.3%
8. Duke 73.7%
9. UVA 74%


I found it interesting that a rival writer thinks the game against Miami would be a slightly harder match up than against Clemson. I also find it interesting that he thinks GT is the next best team (coastal wise).

Win percentages are based off FPI stats. I'm unsure if he used FPI team stats for last year, or FPI individual player stats for returning players.

It could be for the plain and simple reason that playing at home against Clemson could be a bit easier than playing on the road against Miami.
