Mario (for once) played it correctly at the end of the half. We really needed to either shut down that third down run or have toney get a big return.

He’s actually played the middle 8 very well this season. Notre Dame, for example. Probably won us the game. Went from 7-7 to 21-7 without them touching the ball. He’s been better in this area this year. I’d have bet he’d never heard the term a year or two ago. This year they’re clearly very aware of it and playing accordingly.
