I wonder where those experts had UNC at this same time last year before they came from the depths and won the Coastal.

Considering everyone picked Georgia Tech last year after they won the division the previous season, the voters are just following protocol.

UNC is the most overrated team in the ACC.
Trubisky is going to be exposed this season & I guarantee they'll lose 4 or 5 games this year.
@ UGA, @ FSU, @Miami, I think Pitt beats them in NC & Duke gets revenge against them at home on a Thursday night.

The people that vote/pick these things give them all of about 30 seconds of thought. They do a quick Google search to see what others are saying, look at last year's performance, and make their picks. The entire process takes no longer than taking a leak.

Actually surprised we're that high. So few of our players made ACC preseason lists, I assumed the writers were unilaterally down on us.

Historically, picking the Coastal winner is a fool's errand.

Not upsetting. We got something to prove. We haven't won anything yet, but we confident we will. Win, recruits and media will come over to our side.

Not a total slap, Watson and Cook are great players. Kaaya will be with them this season. Didn't look at the other guy

Was more focused on Elijah Hood garnering more votes & Lamar Jackson the same amount as BK.

Elijah Hood is one of the best RB's in the country.

1,463 yards and 17 TD's last season averaging 6.7 per carry 2nd in ACC only to Cook.

I think Lamar Jackson is ultra talented, but at this point shouldn't be tied with Kaaya. He did throw for over 1,800 yards, run for 960 yards, and accounted for 23 total TD's as a true freshman. What he did to Texas A&M in the bowl game was borderline criminal. Passed for 227 and 2 TD's, and ran for 226 yards and 2 TD's. I think next season will be Lamar's to battle out with Kaaya for ACC top dog.
