The crowd was fired up. The upper deck was unleashed. Even fighter jets zoomed overhead at the outset.

But while the USF Bulls delivered on a raucous home-field environment, the Miami Hurricanes ultimately – and emphatically — passed another road test.

The eighth-ranked Canes pulled away in the second half to notch a 50-15 win over USF Saturday night before a gathering of 58,660 at Raymond James Stadium.

57 yrd field goal, George with a weird catch fumble in air, trick play TD, and 51 yrd field goal.

Onside kick attempt showed they knew they couldn't hang.

Veer and shoot us great until the end zone. We gashed in the air which is what we offered them.

I wouldn't say we came out slow. The bad turnover a couple long FG and USF came out like a kid sugared up on a 6 pack of donuts. Withstanding the first half and the TD to go in with the lead was the end of their rush rush.

SIAP but did they call that an interception or fumble?

Yep, the George drop in stride could've been a house call, instead turned into 6 for USF.

I also added the under thrown missed TD to CJ2 as another TD left off the scoreboard since we got 0 points on that possession. (Ward threw it a little too late IMO)

Hypothetically, we could've won 64-9 and other than USF's version of Cole Beasley being a thorn in our D, it was an impressive victory on the road at night.

Looking back at the USF/Bama.. it was 21-16 with 5:55 left in the 4th quarter and Bama only had 220 total yards with 6 minutes remaining. (Not to mention, Bama was playing at home) Their last 3 TDS completely changed the optics of that game.

Anyone else notice Cam telling their DL where we were running on the goaline set, twice?

Both went for TD’s
