Miami opens +7 to +8.5 on Saturday

Yeah, before our game I went to the Notre Dame board on Rivals with no intention to post until I read the threads. They all anticipated a blow out and had no clue about our team. I ticked them off a little bit, which was fine.

I wouldn't give us a chance against a Deshaun Watson team but this Clemson version is no cinch to score. Bryant only has 12 touchdown passes all season. His yards per attempt is moderate at 7.3
 
Miami is +9 at Pinnacle and +9.5 at Bookmaker right now. I've always considered the Monday morning line the "true" opening line because that's when they remove the limits. Right now Bookmaker is limiting you to $2,200 on the game, but that should open up tomorrow AM. I no longer have a Pinnacle account, but the limits used to be absurdly low until Monday morning (a mere $300 per side). These sites want to let the initial lines marinate to get a feel for how bettors are betting the game before they adjust their numbers and open the limits.

I like our chances to cover, but would like to see if it gets to +10 before pulling the trigger. Too much recency bias to think we can't hang with this Clemson squad. The loss of Herndon is big, but probably not worth more than a point in the linesmaker's eyes.
 
I hope the line goes to 15. I want us to be as disrespected as possible. Kelly Bryant is Josh Jackson lite. I don’t see them scoring vs us. I also don’t see us scoring vs them. So somethings got to give.

The Hot Trash Money is going to push this line to Miami +12 1/2. Watch. The sharps are going to make so much money off the public they’re going to reopen all of Meyer Lansky’s old casinos in Havana off the Sucker’s take.
