It’s a reasonable argument to say these early graduates usually end up needing a year or two before they become productive.

On the other hand many are uber talented so would you forego a Blount or Toney due to a gap year? It’s not like they’re sticking around for the full four or five years anyway. And presumably you can construct the NIL contract to step up each season so the first year investment isn’t too expensive.

Hes an early entree college kid. His stats arent overrated though they are pretty good. I never believed him to be the best wr in the country or as good as Jj SMith though. But he is one of the rclassifies that showed right away he can play.

What stats beyond the georgia game last year? He is not a top tier wr. You can argue it all you want but he just isn't that right now
