Miami football has extended an offer out to Major Stokes.

Stokes is out of Orem (UT), and he is currently listed at 6-foot-5, 240-pounds. He plays his ball at Orem High School, where he now holds 18 total offers, including Miami, BYU, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma, among others.

Stokes announced his Miami offer on Twitter, stating: "@CanesFootball OFFERED! Honored and grateful! Keep grinding! God is good!"

Stokes is considered a four-star talent by all four major recruiting sites. According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is the No. 16 player at his position and the No. 125 overall prospect in the 2028 class.

This past season at Orem High, he totaled for 42 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 29.5 tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. During his freshman season, he accomplished 60 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and three sacks.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, he currently holds a 33.4% to land at Michigan.

He would be a solid addition to the defensive line group for the Hurricanes as Mario Cristobal gets going on the 2028 recruiting class.

Sounds like how id describe a set a sunset cliffs in my younger years

Surprised by the Michigan Crystal Ball happened so soon after he stayed an extra day after prospects camp with his mom ( @DMoney says that day was primarily for 27 recruits).

Sebastian seems to disagree with that prediction.

I don't disagree with the interest, he mentioned Michigan very highly. I just get the sense his process is going to develop over time rather than rush to a commitment this early
Gotcha. I like our chances vs Michigan. I don't see them putting it together this year. Uphill battle for them.
