Miami continues to build relationships with some of the top talent in South Florida, and the Hurricanes have now added another name to their growing 2028 recruiting board. Three-star safety Khristian Anderson announced that he has received an offer from Miami, giving the Hurricanes a chance to keep another talented defensive back close to home.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back is set to play at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida, one of the nation’s premier high school football programs. Anderson transferred to American Heritage ahead of his junior season after beginning his high school career at Cardinal Gibbons, where he quickly established himself as one of South Florida’s rising defensive backs.
Anderson already holds offers from programs including Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Kansas State, with his recruitment expected to gain even more momentum over the next year. Miami’s decision to get involved early shows how badly the coaching staff wants to keep in-state talent.
According to 247Sports, Anderson is currently ranked as the No. 544 overall prospect in the 2028 recruiting class and the No. 43 safety nationally. Those rankings should continue to climb if he puts together another strong season at American Heritage against some of the best competition in the country.
