Third worst offensive output over the last 25 seasons, and only better than the anemic offenses of 2005-2006, where we went 23 games without scoring more than 37 points in a contest. A 22% decrease in scoring from a year ago.

This stat is the result of scheduling UF instead of FAU or some other cupcake prior to ACC play. Add a 40 point outcome there, and this season is decidedly middle of the pack.

Manure made an F- hire at OC. Bottom line.

Homers bought in despite reality and facts, but it's over now.

If Manure as ruthless and adaptable as he wants you to believe, Penos will be on his way out of here at season's end, and Manure will hire that "cutting-edge, modern, exciting OC" he originally promised us and failed to deliver on.

This is the only way he even has a shot at prolonging his career.

Would anyone here have ever thought **** would be as bad as Richt. FFS we have the worst luck in college football.

Edit: worse than Richt

But I thought we beat out Bama for his services, at least that was reported on this board as being the case.
I'm really starting to believe that he wouldn't have been the OC there. That was started in the media and was really all speculation, etc. Nick probably was mad and likely would've made him the highest paid QB coach/maybe slap some BS title with it but not OC.

And if we schedule a run of the mill G5 team instead of Bethune the numbers would drop back to where they are now if not lower

Do you numbnuts realize how much this offense is handcuffed by the O-line? It’s plain as day. Not sure what you guys are watching.

On top of that - we continue to have our QB’s make bad decisions. There are guys open if they just get them the ball.

Go back and watch the 4th down play late in the 4th when we really needed it. Excellent play/playcall.

I think Rosier was more successful downfield than we are this year with our current QBs despite all his inconsistency and inaccuracy. Enos loves the horizontal game, both running and passing. I think we should be more vertical.
