Talent wise. Last 3 games decided by a total of 9 points. In fact Miami will have an edge over them at most positions in 2017 including running back, dt ,de, linebacker, tight end, receiver(push or slight lean to fsu, Miami has the best one but fsu has more), qb fsu if kaaya comes back(slightly fsu), oline-fsu(their group is not good either), db-fsu

FSU can go 3 deep at any position and still be successful. That's what an elite team can do. We are 2 years from being in that discussion of "elite".
 
FSU has had more talent the past 3 years, just shows how overrated Jimbo is. Barely beat us with a Heisman QB (Winston), and a beast at RB

Doesn't show on the field against Miami. Throughout history they always brought in more perceived talent than Miami. That's not the end all be all. On the field Miami definitely haven't been overmatched lately the last 3 years and won't especially once dalvin cook is gone imo
 
Miami has to guard the backyard. Letting the Dalvin Cooks of the world escape to Trailerhassee was unforgivable, but not surprising, since there was better upside for them under Jimbo than under Golden Showers.

Well, they might finish with the same record as us for the first time in however. We're close, but not quite there. I like the car and plane analogy.

I'm not sure they have an all-world players on Offense besides Francois. Of course, all that changes if they bring in Lingard.

Defensively, their weakest link is their DC and LB corps. Their secondary and DL will be lethal.

they've closed the gap talent wise, depth of talent....not so much. they need to hit big on the next two classes.

I agree we have closed the gap from where it was 4-5 years ago. Still need to continue to add talent. This 2016 class that Miami brought in was very talented
 
Rivalry games are a bad way to judge talent levels.

Cuckbo does less with more. He's still riding that Jameis/Cook 2 year wave in the minds of idiots.

One of these days we better beat them rather than just come close. This year was a good year to do it since it was at home and the Noles lost a lot of starters.
 
Broke is not too far from reaching DBC and Poranos status.

Now you are moving the goal posts. Literally the first two words of your post were "talent wise", and as others have already noted, that is simply not the case.
