Not cane news but still in the community, and a school that has done Miami well. Long time Head Coach of the Miami Norland Vikings (17 years) appear to have retired from his coaching duties, and accepted a role as Assistant Principle. Supposedly he will still be involved a bit in athletics (Not sure if this means AD or what). He will be replaced by Northwestern/FAMU alumnus Tyronn Johnson (played with Nate Webster).
