Miami needs a new annual rival

Do we feel like there’s any chance we add a p4 opponent in the empty spaces over the next few years?
 
Miami needs to get out of the ACC, first and foremost, and join a mega conference like every other serious program has done. There is no benefit to hanging around the ACC, it's a huge hinderance actually. SEC and B1G teams get a bump in their rankings which create a horse**** SoS narrative come CFP selection. We need to do the same.
 
My top 5 ideal Rivalry matchups (not including FL schools):

1. ND
2. USC (trojans)
3. Oregon
4. Ohio State
5. Penn State

A lot of B10 schools there. If we moved there, schedule would be fun for sure. So many storyline and history.

Good list but I would move OSU to #2, Ducks to 3. USC is a fun matchup because we are similar schools on different coasts but we don’t have any real history. Thr Cristobal angle gives Ducks the edge.

Agreed, no history against USC. But thats always been one that I would love to see.

Its a shame our early 2000s elite teams didnt sync up with their elite mid 2000s teams.
 
Notre Dame is the only answer to this question. It's dumb that we haven't already locked in more games. We both need more quality opponents, it's a win-win.
