The Hurricanes continues to stay active on the trail. Miami was recently named in the top six for 2027 three-star offensive lineman Reis Russell, who holds over 20 offers, cutting his list down as the spring recruiting push heats up.

He was just recently visited by Hurricanes offensive lineman coach Mirabel:

Miami will have stiff competition for Russell’s commitment, going head-to-head with in-state rival Florida, along with Washington, Oregon, Georgia, and SMU.

Russell checks in at 6-foot-4, 290 pounds and hails from Valor Christian High School in Littleton, Colorado. The interior offensive lineman is rated as a three-star prospect and currently ranks as the No. 537 overall player in the 2027 class, the No. 2 prospect in the state of Colorado, and the No. 34 interior offensive lineman nationally.

With Cristobal and Mirabal continuing to stack the offensive line, Miami staying firmly in the mix for Russell is another sign the Hurricanes are casting a wide, casting net in the 2027 class.

Dat mullet doe!
