Our failure to make the postseason last year had nothing to do with Ward and more to do with a sht defense.
In fact, with that porous defense, we were fortunate to not have lost 2-3 more games were it not for Ward's heroics.
I love Beck, but Ward was a superior QB.

With Becht, Mestemaker appearing to be off the board and Leavitt's injury my top 5 has been taken hits early. Thankfully, my top 2 aren't gone yet, Sorsby and Hoover, but those could be misses, also. Leavitt without injury is in my top 2. I could be down to Bailey soon and he isn't in. I would be very happy with Sorsby or Hoover.

I think Sorsby is better than Simpson but I would take Simpson as a 2nd choice, although I really like Bailey and I would take him ahead of Simpson if he jumps in the portal.

One great year next season could mean the difference in 10s of millions. Why roll with an offense that doesn’t have a line or WRs already lined up next year?

Leavitt entered with no contact so he's signed, sealed, and delivered to somewhere already (probably Oregon)
