I feel like we haven’t heard the last about Bailey …Sorsby is top guy with a couple guys not in yet. I’ve hinted at both in the last week . One more likely than the other. I know for a fact there’s a few guys agents reaching out to schools.
he’s a nice fall back option in case of misses but I think we’ll be okI feel like we haven’t heard the last about Bailey …
This process is stressful. Mario always figures it outhe’s a nice fall back option in case of misses but I think we’ll be ok
I don’t understand—doesn’t Trinidad have a pretty good case to have one more year of eligibility? Is the stock too high to return? Ole Miss bagged him up?
I mean he announced he’s returning to NC state. I doubt he will up and leave them now.I feel like we haven’t heard the last about Bailey …
Not sure if you’ve said it in past but what’s your order for portal QBs?Nobody knows yet but his agent is very busy
I think they’re all very close but I like Sorsby, Simpson and Mateer because of being more than a pocket guy. A run threat with this run scheme would be devastating. I was a big Mestemaker guy too. We can win with 5-6 of these portal guys. Not sure if you’ve said it in past but what’s your order for portal QBs?
Add in Simpson and let’s say he enters..
Reading the tea leaves:Nobody knows yet but his agent is very busy
Prepare for him to leave LSU without a commitment. From a business standpoint that would provide the most leverage. If he leaves LSU without signing there is a chance.
All three are very good options and outside of those 3 there are other very good options as well. I think with a better cast and coaching, Miami Mahomes could be a problem.Reading the tea leaves:
1) Sorsby
2a) Simpson
2b) Mateer
Let's say Trinidad gets another year of eligibility and decides to return; why would he leave the success and what he knows at Ole Miss for the unknown of LSU?I don’t understand—doesn’t Trinidad have a pretty good case to have one more year of eligibility? Is the stock too high to return? Ole Miss bagged him up?
Agreed. They are seeing how much they can milk this for.Prepare for him to leave LSU without a commitment. From a business standpoint that would provide the most leverage.
And the one position group that takes years to gel into a cohesive collectiveSorsby is willing to go to a team with a completely new OL from the portal? And fwiw, OL is usually the most shallow position in the portal.
Mateer did last year. Odd.Sorsby is willing to go to a team with a completely new OL from the portal? And fwiw, OL is usually the most shallow position in the portal.
Kids don't need a good case anymore. NCAA has lost all power and everything that gets rejected by them immediately goes to courts and they lose, so anything is possible. I mean look no further than that guy at Baylor who was drafted in the 1st Round (which should have made him ineligible), played pro ball internationally, and is now allowed to come back and play. Absolutely ridiculous.I don’t understand—doesn’t Trinidad have a pretty good case to have one more year of eligibility? Is the stock too high to return? Ole Miss bagged him up?
