I was shocked the other day to see a post by some dumb@$$ new-school fan. I could tell he had not been around to see all of our historically dominant teams, especially our defenses. We used to make all these running QB's look like ****.

It's so simple, even a toddler could figure this out. Bring back Butch and we have a savage defense full of prime time playmakers and explosive offense full of speed and dominant o-line. Special teams would also be back in a big way.

Fisher didnt win he recruited than he won same with every program. Lol at miami winning with x and os we in sfla ladies n gentleman we have studs here. Line em up and beat everyone, miami has always won with the beat pkayers who proved to be the beat when they went to the nfl. Now we send practice squad guys when butch send hof to the league.

Our roster is depleted no matter what dmoneyor anyone else says i see with my eyes. Slow safeties slow linebackers weak interior dl soft ol one miami tyoe wr should have waaaaayyyy better running backs no depth....no dlineman with a quick get off. Bumb *** recruiting byag when he had alot of better local options. Some kids are good i wont frontbutthis is not a miami roster period. My opinion and im stickingto it, u will see the type ayers butch brings in if hes named coach watch

Dude the 2000 Canes are not "old school". The days this place used to be called QB U were the old days. When we won 4 titles in 9 years.

Two of those coaches, the two who built it, are in the college football hall of fame. THATS THE KIND OF COACH YOU NEED.

That's because we didn't have Butch to develop them. Miami wanted so much to duplicate what he did, they hired two of his assistants and failed. There is only one Butch. Get it together B.

Why the FUGG would we look to the Davis era when our program is significantly more akin to the pre-Howard era? How the **** can people be paid to write about something and be so clueless? OFFENSE, and QB play are what originally defined us. We havent had a dominant offense in 15 effing years.

Miami needs an elite coach. You will NOT be able to recruit if you can't win quickly. It's been covered 10000000 times. FFS.

Anyone who ignores recruiting is as important as it is has zero knowledge of whats been going on in college football over the last 20 years. The best teams are the ones that recruit the best and the there are zero coaches who have won any titles before they had top notch classes. No coach in the last 20 years won a title before they brought in a top 4 class. And most coaches needed two top 4 classes to pull it off. That includes Saban.

Also if you think you know more than college football experts then lets just go ahead and get that on the table so people will understand what frame of mind your in. Saban says over and over its the most important aspect of his approach. Not number 3 or number 2. He says is number one. And why shouldnt he... look at his career. he didn't win shiat until he started landing major recruiting classes.
