Miami LB Raul Aguirre Enters Transfer Portal

I don’t want to say it’s disastrous but it almost is. There is no more portal frankly, unless we pull some Xavier Lucas BS and really fight the NCAA. The LB core starting is Toure: who has torn his same ACL twice and Bonner: who while the staff likes has been limited here, and then you’d have Popo slot into a full time or split rep starter.

I don’t exactly trust anyone else to be ready to claim that #3 spot in the corps. Pay him what he wants, he deserves it and the snaps. We don’t need to stress Toure and that ACL.

Not that simple. We throw around “pay him what he wants” too loosely. The locker room is always watching. You don’t want to be known for paying every player what they want. That culture that we saw this year on that field would be no longer.

Surprised - yeah. Lots of speculation as to why..playing time, role, $. Trinton seemed to indicate a move could net more playing time. Why would he say that?

Mario/Heatherman know what's up. If they want him back, he'll likely be back. If not, the role shouldn't be that difficult to fill - probly with a more dynamic option. Maybe add a depth piece.

He was playing rotational snaps for sure. He’s probably not on any draft boards so he’d need every opportunity possible.

Staff has done an incredible job building this roster

If Bonner is ready and plays well then it paid off

But if it’s a weakness this year then biles was a whiff
