Miami LB Raul Aguirre Enters Transfer Portal

Hes a db now

10 different people have answered the question to this kid's position 50/50 as to whether he's a LB or S…And also there is a lot of gray area between our nickle/3rd safety/LB in therms of where they lineup and their responsibilities, so it could be an easy move back for him especially if wants to see time because competing with Poyser/Hampton/Fitz won't be a bargain for him either.

Thats the one I forgot him and JJ Edward's too, but we're dangerously close to banking the season on a ton of LBs that have zero snaps here
agree, wish him and Bonner weren't injured, both looked the part on special teams late in the year, at least we know Bonner was a productive LB in 2024.
We still need to retain Popo or add 1 for depth

One thing for certain, he doesnt look like a LB when he is taking on Olineman

Was Bonner on any injury reports? He was healthy and available and barely played all year so miss me with the staff suddenly likes him more than Popo talk.

The only time I remember him playing this season he looked lost af and gave up a score right behind him. Popo was our 3rd backer, and was in line for an even bigger role next season on an already extremely thin LB unit. Doesn’t make sense unless this is a $ play. JMO
yea This Bonner Stuff is revision...He transferred in and essentially redshirted ...he isnt above Po Po on the totem pole...to be frank po Po should of took more of wes reps.

Ya I don't think he's ahead of him…But they could be closer than their snap counts indicate? Just a thought. And I'm a Popo fan and hope he stays, I think he's a solid backer

Popo is/was the best tracking LB on the team. Should've seen the field more, but I rolled with the call to play experience.

He’s prob better with a way more athletic ability . I like to see him beside 1 . He’s another great athlete . We have to start recruiting lbs better out of high school!
Besides the fact that Toure is coming back, word is the staff loves Wiley, Bonner and the true freshmen LBs that just came in.

I’m sure there are big time schools offering him a starting spot. I hope we can retain him.
Are we not a big time school offering him a starting spot?

I guess Bonner is slated to start, did he RS or something this year?
